2010 Predictions

 

Welp 2010 is here and 2009 is gone like a crackhead on payday…And you  know normally I don’t make any resolutions..Mainly because I aint GONNA DO em…Yeah thats right…I am old enough and smart enough to review my past 25 years of living and realize that I aint gonna do nothing but disappoint myself next year when I realize that those 20 lbs that I said I was gonna lose before February..

As of late, I have been doing a lot of writing and recording for my new EP called FreshLove ( I was going to call it, FreshSex, but I didnt have a good reply prepared for when Momma Fresh asks me ..WHAT WOULD JESUS THINK ABOUT THAT!?)…But as I was writing and listening to some old tracks ….I stumbled on a very personal one …AND I WAS EXCITED!! Man, it was the very 1st song that I ever recorded!!!…

Now I was late to the office today..therefore I was going to wait to slap my FreshThoughts up in the air for the world to smell…Soooo…as I crept in my lil seat and went through my routine..You know…Check the email..Delete the 23 Facebook event invites that I received in my email…Check the bank acct balance to see if I can cop the new cardigan at Urban Outfitters…Read and reply to a debate with Piph and B.Dot about how Gucci Mane has one of the best flows in the game right (in which I lost)

Color me chagrinned. No, honestly…CHA-GRINNED! I have done some serious thinking in the past few years that it has taken me to morph into the woman that I want to be. The sad part is that the men aren’t morphing as fast.

When I was growing up there was always two things that I was scared of….

1. Drive- By

Yup, where I grew up…there was always some dusty niggaz in blue aka Crips that would roam around the hood..trying to peep who they could use as target practice….Very fun game until you realized that there was no reset button in those games and watching your friends get their clothes cut off wasnt the ideal convo that you would like to have with your parents at supper. ( Dont act like you dont know nothing about “supper”)

Now as of late…I have really been working on my fresh…I have been eating grass and veggie patties that really taste like green beans and old jiffy cornbread…And along with drinking tons of water ..Now I have upgraded my work outs to more than just doing push-ups during the commercials on Monday Night Friday …Oh….Oh….AND…

Ok…naw but seriously….Lets just think about it…Bad Breath is a serious matter…It can destroy your character, your body of work and even your  self esteem and not to mention the damage it does to the nostrils of those that share the same free air as you…Oh yes, my friends best believe that bad breath transcends through age, race and even financial success…You see..if you were to stroll up on a nigga that was POOR and he had that stank in his grill…well…You would be like….
